Regular trash is picked up on  Monday of each week. 

Waste must be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. The City will provide a 65 gallon cart to residents.

·         Tires

·         Car parts/fluids

·         Construction Material

·         Appliances

·         Syringes

·         Batteries

·         Compost or yard waste

·         Paint

·         Hazardous Materials, such as fuel or solvents,   pesticides, and like items.

Recycling will be picked up on Thursday of each week. The City of Fenton provides 18-gallon recycle containers to each resident at no fee.  Please contact City Hall for a second recycling container.

• CONTAINERS - must be rinsed and labels removed.

• Aluminum, steel or tin cans.

• Glass Jars and Bottles

• #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 and #8 natural or colored plastic containers.

• CARDBOARD - may be placed under your recycling bin.

• FIBER

• Newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper.

• Tissue boxes, Cereal boxes

NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS: Heavy metals, Car parts, Rubber products, Wood products or treated wood.

If a holiday falls during a normal work week (Monday - Friday) and the holiday falls on or before your pick up day you will be picked up one day later than normally scheduled.

Some waste items need special attention or require special pick-ups. These items are not banned from disposal in Missouri landfills. Large bulky items such as furniture, mattresses, rolls of carpet, etc. cannot be picked up on the normal trash route. The normal trash truck is not designed to take such items and the workers may not have the man-power to handle them without possible injury. Call Christian Environmental Services 866-522-3781 for a special pick-up or put these items out during the spring and fall clean up period. There may be a separate charge/fee for these types of items. Additionally, for remodeling jobs, large roll-off containers can be rented by calling Christian at 866-522-3781.
 

Appliances or metal item collections need to be scheduled with the office.
This includes the following items:

*Refrigerators, Stoves, Dishwashers, and any other large metal appliances
*Metal machinery such as push-mowers (all fluids must be drained)
*Metal furniture such as patio tables and/or chairs
*Barbecue grills
